THE BASIC COLOR BLOCK

It's that time of the year when the new season hasn't settle in yet, and the weather keeps changing constantly. You can feel the warmth of the spring's sun, but the winter's cold wind doesn't go away. The good thing is that, during this brief time, we get the chance to mix up things without worrying if they are season appropriate. Like I did with this simple and casual look, I wore a basic white shirt with a black A skirt and my color blocked riding boots, to shake thing up and create a cool contrast.

Wrap skirt - Vintage / Shirt - Zara / Floppy hat - BCBG Max Azria / Riding boots - Zara.

This color blocked look is so simple, it has the perfect balance of black, white and camel. Three basic colors that look so good together, so you don't need to wear tons of accessories to make it stand out. It's nice to keep it simple sometimes, but in case you need an extra flare, you can always add a black floppy hat to keep the color block trend and make the look a bit more edgy.

Remember to keep it simple and chic!

THE NEW DANDY

The spring is finally getting here, and as you must know pastel tones are one of the hottest trends for this new season. So what better way to transition from one season to another, than mixing the pastel trend with one of the biggest and most popular trend of winter.. "The female dandy style". This awesome male inspired look is still rocking all women's wardrobes, and it seems like it's gonna stick around a little longer.

Creme jacket - H&M / Tuxedo shirt - Massimo Dutti / Bow tie - Hair piece used as a tie / Blush pants - Dolce & Gabbana / Thin belt - Sfera / Platform heels -Fendi / Watch - Chanel.

I've been dying to use this shirt for days, but I just couldn't find the right way to wear it. Until to days ago, when I was looking around my closet and thought it would be great if I created a whole tuxedo look. So I paired the shirt up with my blush pants, that I love and my creme jacket. But still was something missing, the most important piece..  Until I found this beautiful bow and immediately knew I had to wear it as a bow tie. I mean if you are going for a dandy look you should go all the way, and make it right, Don't you think?
Enjoy your weekend!!

Andrea

IN STORAGE

Yesterday during my busy day, I visited a huge store, where you can literally find everything for house decor. They have some weird stuff, tons of waky furniture, cool kitchen tools, and everything else you can think of. I took this pictures while I was lurking around the halls, looking for a perfect chair. I want something different that stands out in my bedroom, but I just not seem to find it anywhere. I wanted to take more photos, cause I really loved this outfit, but I was so busy during the day, lost track of time and it got really late. So I ended up posing next to the storage bins, which looked kind of cool anyway. It all created a big mix and match, between my clothes and the stuff around the store.

Quilted jacket - Express / White shirt - BCBG MaxAzria / Choker necklace - Sfera / Printed skirt - Bebe / Waist belt - Express / Suede booties - Faena.

I loved the contrast between the printed skirt and the bright satin jacket, they are the main pieces of the look and the colors on them matched perfectly. I think it's great how the biker jacket with the choker necklace give some toughness to the ensemble, while the flowy skirt and the white shirt bring a more subtle romantic edge. In the end they all create a cool modern look rich with color and style.

Have a nice day!!

Andrea

BUG IN ME

Mondays are always busy days.. After enjoying a great weekend, you hit reality and realize you have a lot of things to do during this new week. Run some errands and plan ahead for everything.. job meetings, school exams, projects and photo shoots to plan.  So I won't talk much and I'll just share this quick post with you.

Sheer blouse - XTaren / Skinny jeans - Zara / Peep toe heels - Bershka / Beetle necklace - Sfera / Hamilton bag - Michael Kors.

I wore this outfit yesterday for a casual family sunday, I got this shirt a few weeks ago and I wanted to use it so bad. I thought it would look good with my perfect skiny jeans, I mean this bright orange tone speaks for itself! So even with some casual denim it can pop out and create a cool laid back look.

Hang in there...  Monday will be over sooner than you think!

Andrea
