THE BASIC COLOR BLOCK

It's that time of the year when the new season hasn't settle in yet, and the weather keeps changing constantly. You can feel the warmth of the spring's sun, but the winter's cold wind doesn't go away. The good thing is that, during this brief time, we get the chance to mix up things without worrying if they are season appropriate. Like I did with this simple and casual look, I wore a basic white shirt with a black A skirt and my color blocked riding boots, to shake thing up and create a cool contrast.

Wrap skirt - Vintage / Shirt - Zara / Floppy hat - BCBG Max Azria / Riding boots - Zara.

This color blocked look is so simple, it has the perfect balance of black, white and camel. Three basic colors that look so good together, so you don't need to wear tons of accessories to make it stand out. It's nice to keep it simple sometimes, but in case you need an extra flare, you can always add a black floppy hat to keep the color block trend and make the look a bit more edgy.

Remember to keep it simple and chic!
love,
Andrea
