LITTLE RED RIDING WHO?

Every 5th of February, in Mexico we celebrate our Constitution Day. So every year we get a day off and have a long weekends to celebrate it. This time, I went to visit my boyfriend and my friends to Leon. We had an amazing weekend, celebrated a friend's birthday and enjoyed the Superbowl with tons of friends. I came back to town yesterday, so I got a little behind on my posts. This pictures where taken last thursday, before leaving on my trip. I was dying to wear this new red cape, I know it's a little too red riding hood, but I think it is an awsome piece! I love capes, they are such a chic alternative for the traditional coats and they make you look so femenine and classy.

Red cape - Ellen Tracy , Polka dot dress - Atmosphere,  Neck collar - Zara, Waist belt - Vintage, Shoes - Merona, Santos watch - Cartier.

This polka dot dress is so perfect and paired up with the pilgrim collar and the long socks, it just looks adorable. This type of removable collars are a great investment, they are so versatile, you can wear them with everything; You get the oxford trend in seconds with this little extra piece. I think this look is so cute and trendy at the same time, it is  a weird mixture between a sexy school girl and little red riding hood, with some Blair Waldorf going on! It's a bit odd, but I loved the final result.

Lets get back to work.. see you tomorrow!

BOHO CHIC

It's so weird how my style keeps changing everyday, I just can't settle into choosing one. I get bored so easily, sometimes I wake up, and feel like dressing to preppy, others to girly and the next day something entirely different, Like yesterday, that I wore this boho look. I bought this knit blouse in my vacation to Cuba. I think it's so beautiful with all the hand made details, that I couldn't wait  to wear it.  It has such a bohemian vibe, so I decided  to go for the whole look and used a fringed bag and my floppy hat to complete the style.

Knit top - Cuban market, Leather shorts - H&M, Tights - DKNY, Knee boots - Pata Pata,  Fringed bag - Old, necklace - Adolfo Dominguez, Bangles - Vintage, Floppy hat - BCBG MaxAzria.

I mixed this knit with some leather shorts and me knee high boots to make the style a bit more like me. I like the bohemian trend, but I prefer it when it becomes more of a boho chic. They are so alike, but with little details that make it much more casual, so it works better for the city. It's a cool style that gives you a chance to play with the pieces you wear is funky and chic all at the same time.

The weekend is here.. have fun!!

Andrea

BRICK WALL

Yesterday I wore my red pants, it had been a while since I last used them. First I chose the top part of my look and instead of wearing some regular jeans; I taught why not use red ones. I think red, beige and camel tones look great together, they create such a cool contrast, perfect to bright up a cloudy day.

Red pants - Stradivarius, White basic shirt - Dolce & Gabbana, Golden sweater - Ya. Los Angeles, Trench coat - Zara, Thin waist belt - Zara, Necklace - Express,  Oxford shoes - Aldo, Hamilton tote bag - Michael Kors, Sunglasses - Zara

This preppy style works so well for me, it's one of my favorite ways to dress because it is dressed up enough for any plan you may have during the day. By mixing this trend with the urban london style, of the trench and oxfords. You can create a classy and serious look in such a casual way... then add a pop of color to the equation and you get a perfect outfit.

 Have a nice day!!

Andrea
