SURF & TURF

Mix match print skirt - Peter Pilotto for Target / Black crop top &
Chunky silver necklace - H&M / Faux snake skin clutch - Julio / Ankle cuff sandals - Zara.

I know I haven't posted as often as I promised I would, and believe me, I feel sorry and sad that I haven't had time to share all my looks with you guys. But here I am today, finally making time to share a not so new, but very cool surfer meets the city look! Which I wore a while back, when I got my big stash of Peter Pilotto’s capsule collection for Target.

This skirt was definitely my favorite piece from his collection, I totally love the fun mix of patterns and the red color pop it has, only he can make crazy and bold prints like this ones work together in the most effortlessly way possible. The tropical has a surf style feel to it, so when I wore the skirt, I decided to pair it with something simple but still as awesome, so I wore my long sleeve crop top, which matched perfectly because it gives a surfers shirt vibe, making the look feel tropical, but still pretty chic for the city.
I kept the look simple, by pairing it with my minimal ankle cuff sandals and then completed it with some silver accessories, just to add some metalic shine for the night.
Have a good week!
love,
Andrea

FOLLOW THE LINES

Mix print sweaTshirt - Peter Pilotto for Target / Striped pencil skirt - Zara
Ankle strap silver pumps - Steve Madden /  Chandelier statement earrings - Macy’s.

So last week was my birthday, I turned 26 and even though I feel I’m getting old so fast, I was so happy to celebrate another amazing year of life! I am very grateful for all wonderful things that had happened during this past years, and very excited for the things to come on the next ones. The best is yet to come!

I was kind of busy last week celebrating and planning my B-day party, that I had no time to post this photos, that have been sitting on my computer for a while now, but today I finally made some time to share them. This look is perfect for an unexpected cloudy & chill spring day like today, when suddenly the weather decides to change completely, but you still want to look great without loosing your style. So why not do as I did, and mix a cool cozy sweatshirt, with a fitted pencil skirt, to create a fun contrast of silhouettes and why not prints, managing to keep warm and fabulous at the same time.

Have a great week!
love,
Andrea

SPRING AND THE CITY

So apparently the spring hasn’t settle down yet, the weather keeps changing constantly, specially in my super crazy weathered city, where it tends to change completely from the morning to the afternoon. The good thing is that while we wait for the weather to finally start to feel like summer, we get to try some cool trends and styles, like wear a pair of boots with a short dress, like I did for this simple but sexy look, perfect for a sunny but windy day.

I paired a kimono style mini dress with my new ridding boots, which I barely had chance to wear before the winter ended, so I decided to wear them for a different scenario and created a kind of boho chic mood, very easy and casual for the day, but also cool and a bit sultry for a night out.

I wore some simple accessories like my new calf hair clutch, some silver rings and the coolest pair of vintage chandelier earrings, with some red stones to match with my dress, then to finish the look, I put on a hot red lipstick for an extra color pop and wore my hair up on a slick low bun.
Floral print kimono dress - H&M / Chandelier earrings - Vintage / Black watch - Karl Lagerfeld
Black horn handle clutch -  Vince Camuto / Black leather & suede ridding Boots - Coach.

Enjoy your day!
love,
Andrea

MRS. WHITE

A few weeks ago before the the heat of the spring officially hit the city, I went to grab a quick lunch with a good friend of mine, we visited a great local restaurant called Mrs. White. After lunch we decided to take a few pictures around the place, to show you my look of the day and for you to get to know this cool place (which I really love) as well. I totally recommend it, if you haven't tried it, you are definitely missing out, because the food it’s amazing!

This was a casual date, so I decided to wear a super laid back outfit, by wearing my new super comfy denim jogger pants, with a light sweater to top. To keep the look simple, I matched my shoes, sunnies and bag with my clothes, creating a complete white and blue ensemble. To finish this easy look, I pushed my hair to a side on a messy braid, then wore some big statement earrings, and a hot pink tone lipstick, to add some excitement and a fun pop of color to this effortlessly chic look.

Jogger denim pants - Forever 21 / White sweater - H&M / White cap pumps - Nine West / White retro frame sunnies - Toms / Big statement earrings - Macy’s / White ceramic watch - Michael Kors / Navy tote bag - Tory Burch.

Have a great weekend!!

Andrea
