THE HOT SPOT

For the third look of the Par La Roy series, we created a more sexy and edgier look, that could easily go from day to night, depending on the accessories you pair it with. This ensemble is so easy to pull of, just by matching three of the hottest trends of the season, black and white, leather and graphic prints, in this case funky polka dots. The mini leather skirt gives the outfit a rocker vibe that works great for a night out, and the polka dots bring the extra fun to the look, you just have to add some stand out accessories, like this golden choker, then throw in a cool pair of heels, and you are ready to rock.

SAN MIGUEL

I spend last weekend at San Miguel de Allende, an amazing colonial town in Guanajuato, Mexico. I went there to celebrate my 25th birthday, with a bunch of my closest friends and we spend the long weekend having fun, celebrating on all over town. We visited many cool places and bars, it really felt like if I was turning 21 again, It was the perfect weekend and it felt so good to go away and enjoy my birthday with the people I love. 

I took this pictures one of the days while walking around town, moving from one place to another and everywhere you look you see the beautiful architecture, so I just snapped pics as I went by. I wore my new leopard maxi skirt, which I thick it’s perfection, and paired it with a super simple strap blouse for a casual boho chic look, and I completed my look with a gold and leather statement necklace and a simple messy side braid.

FLOWERS, STRIPES AND MORE

To kick off the month of May, (which by the way is my favorite month of the year, because of my birthday of course), I’m sharing the second look from the Par La Roy's photo shoot series. This is a super fun and casual look, that works perfectly for the summer, by pairing a fitted A line skirt, with a simple T-shirt, you can dress the outfit down, making it more appropriate for the day. Mixing prints is one of the hottest trends of the season, you can pair similar prints, or you can go big by mixing bolder prints, like contrasting flowers with stripes, which look great together.

ELIE SAAB SHOW ROOM

During last week I had the honor to be invited to an Elie Saab trunk show, for a exclusive sale of his amazing spring ready to wear collection. The event was held at the super hip  Habita Hotel, and was a total success, it was great to get to see his garments up close, and to really appreciate the stunning 3D details on the embellished pieces. I loved everything on the racks, specially the beautiful gowns, which clearly show that he is a master of embroidery and its so cool that even in the simplest clothes, you can still see the details that distinguishes him and make his designs unique. I took this few pics while looking around the room, so that you could have a small peek at his collection too.

Mondays are always tough, but you’ll see It will go by fast..
