PRETTY PRETTY PRINTS

Summer is the perfect season to have fun, not only because of the hot weather, the sun, the pool parties and the vacations, but for the cool and colorful clothes that we get the wear. The best thing about this season is being able to play with garments and not being afraid of wearing big statement pieces, now it’s the right time to take risks and make your looks stand out. One easy way to do it, is by using bold prints and colors, which are totally on trend right now, so it should be easy, just as it was for me, to put together this casual but interesting look. I wore my cool blue graphic print pants, with a simple white tank, then matched them with a same toned big chunky rhinestone necklace and  contrasted them with my new camel studded sandals, this way I got to bring the funkiness  from my pants to the rest of my look.

THE WILD SIDE

Animal prints are such a fun trend for summer, they are always an exciting choice and without doubt, summer it’s the perfect season to go into the wild and explore with bold prints. My favorite one has always been leopard, it’s so cool and sexy, that will definitely make you catch some eyes. I love wearing a bold print on a simple look, they add an extra factor to make it stand out, like on today's casual outfit, in which I decided to wear a laid back loose trouser, in a more sophisticated way. I paired my slouchy pants with a basic white shirt and wore my beloved ankle cuff black sandals to create an effortless chic look.

EMPORIO ARMANI EVENT

Last week I was invited to the Emporio Armani Spring/Summer collection launch party, at their new local boutique, it was a great fashion event, were we got to see all the amazing pieces up close. The beautiful collection is composed by classic, fresh and loose silhouettes with tons of color, bright and pastels, as well as some fun prints. It was such a nice evening, we really enjoyed everything about it, we drank some wine and ate some delicious treats, everything was perfect. As for my look is concerned, I decided to wear a simple all black ensemble, keeping it casual and easy, but chic as always. I pulled my hair up in a slick bun, with a natural makeup, for a polished & sophisticated look, I wore my favorite red lipstick, to complete the look with some extra drama.

SHORT SIGHTED

Shorts are quickly becoming one of the hottest items of the season, they are so practical and easy to wear, but still very sex and feminine, not to mention perfect to combat the summer’s heat. The short’s style on trend are the track shorts, which are originally meant for running, but somehow in the past year they evolved, from sports wear to fashion most wear. They are fun and fresh, great to wear during the day and easy to transition for a night out, by paring them with a dressier top. I wore my basic pair with a funky black and white checkers print shirt, mixed with some colorful exotic birds, creating a wild combo that brings the outfit to life. Then I completed my outfit, with my new large chunky necklace and my minimal ankle cuff sandals, for a casual and chic look.
